Racing Club Haitien commemorates its 96th anniversary
In a quiet setting, famous Haitian football club Racing Club Haitien commemorated its 96th anniversary Saturday March 23rd with a thanksgiving mass at the Chapel of the Petit Seminaire College St Martial. This ceremony was attended by several delegations of footballers dressed in the colors of the club, fans of the old lion, members of the sports press and a member of its arch rival Violette Athletic Club Fan’s club.
In his homily, Father Isaac Aujou made a strong appeal to the members of the Racing family to unite in order to save this National Heritage that will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 4 years. “We must straighten the bar to allow the Club to regain its luster of yesteryear” added Father Isaac Aujou.
Paul Emile Adrien, the general secretary of the club who took part in this ceremony took the opportunity to thank the players for the many sacrifices consented to date.
For its part. Ernest Jean François player of the Haitian Racing Club returns to the Bercail after a short sting with Tempête of St-Marc invites his partners to work harder to maintain the torch of the Club high. The group can and must do better during the next matches in Division 1 of the national championship which is the opening series.
