Haiti’s episcopal conference cancels Easter celebrations
The Episcopal Conference of Haiti has taken new steps to prevent the spread of COVID-19. It was decided to cancel the Easter retreats, suspend the Stations of the Cross activity and postpone the Chrism Mass indefinitely.
The Eucharistic celebrations will be held with a dozen people including bishops and priests, informs the secretary general of the CEH, Father Loudeger Mazile inviting the Catholic faithful to live Holy Week with family while respecting the principles of hygiene.
