Monsignor Guire Poulard has died Monsignor Guire Poulard, Archbishop Emeritus of Port-au-Prince has passed away the night of Sunday, December 9, 2018. He was 76 years old. he had been hospitalized because of pancreatic cancer. Ordained a priest on June 25, 1972, he was appointed Archbishop of Port-au-Prince on January 12, 2011 to replace Monsignor Joseph Miot killed during the 2010 earthquake. President Moise promises to shed light on violent acts in La Saline In a statement made Monday, Haitian President Jovenel Moise says the government is working hard to shed light on all acts of violence recorded in the country in recent weeks, referring to the events that occurred at “La Saline” last November.
